Day 23 / A promise is a promise

We woke up to the sound of rain and I reminisced about my childhood. I remember those times I sneaked out of my house to play soccer and activities with the boys. I remember trying to ride a bike and falling off badly. I remember those moment I run and play in the rain. I still remember those feelings of freedom.
I promise my Alannah that she will get to play in the rain today with her brother.
Late afternoon as we were chilling with our friend, she reminded me. It was getting quite late and dark and the rain stopped. I didn’t want to break my promise.
I came up with the idea of making rain.
It was so worth it and so fun watching her.
Tyler joined later.
And I eventually joined them too.
